Our Real Daughter – Hannah Phillips Eaches
Hannah Phillips Eaches joined the DAR on May 4, 1894, and was the first Real Daughter from Pennsylvania to join. She was the youngest child by Josiah’s second wife Sarah Thomas. Lt Josiah Phillips served in 7th Battalion Chester County Militia along with his brother Captain David Phillips and Lt John Phillips. Their father Joseph Phillips emigrated from Wales in 1755.
