Our Real Daughter – Hannah Philips Eaches

Hannah Philips Eaches joined the DAR on May 4, 1894, and was the first Real Daughter from Pennsylvania to join. She was the youngest child by Josiah’s second wife Sarah Thomas. Lt Josiah Philips served in 7th Battalion Chester County Militia along with his brother Captain David Philips and Lt John Philips. Their father Joseph Philips emigrated from Wales in 1755.
