The Chester County Chapter, NSDAR, is focused on historic preservation and has marked the following locations on the dates shown:

Point Lookout near Embreeville, Pennsylvania – July 14, 1908

Joseph Downing’s farm in Downingtown, Pennsylvania – 1953

Uwchlan Friends Meeting House, Exton, Pennsylvania – November 13, 1964

Historic Log Cabin, Downingtown, Pennsylvania – 1973

Upper Octorara United Presbyterian Church, Parkesburg, Pennsylvania – May 1976

Primitive Hall, West Grove, Pennsylvania – May 23, 1981

Grave of Revolutionary War soldier, George King, Ensign, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Cemetery in Great Valley, Malvern, Pennsylvania. Marked July 1934.  Inscription on headstone: “In Memory of George King who departed this Life December 5th 1792 in the 61st Year of his Age.”

Grave of Revolutionary War soldier, John Turner, Marshallton United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marshallton, Pennsylvania.  Possible inscription on headstone: “John Turner: Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia January 19, 1757. Died in Chester County, Pennsylvania February 6, 1843. Served in Delaware Militia 1778 – 1783″
